Nikah Stage — Lattice & Bloom
Arched lattice with a low seating platform, warm uplight from below so faces are lit rather than the backdrop.

The idea
A nikah stage built around how the families will actually sit, and lit so that the people on it photograph well rather than the flowers behind them.
Materials
- Ivory and bone, no stark white
- Carved lattice screens for depth
- Brass lanterns at seated eye level
- Massed white blooms, tight and low
How it is built
- 01
Uplight from below the platform
Light placed low and warm puts it on faces. Backdrop-mounted light does the opposite: a bright wall and everyone in front of it in silhouette.

Seating first, structure second
The platform width is set by how the families need to sit, including any separation the household observes. The arch is then sized to that, not the reverse.

Lattice for depth on camera
A flat backdrop reads as paper in photographs. Screens with real depth hold shadow and give the frame somewhere to sit.
