Occasions · Nischayam

Engagement andNischayam décor.

Smaller rooms, closer seating, and a backdrop built for the two or three angles a nischayam is actually photographed from.

An engagement stage with an arch of white blooms and greenery over two upholstered chairs, brass lamps at either side under warm uplight.

What it covers

  • Ceremony backdrop and seating for the couple and elders
  • Ring and tray presentation, and the exchange table
  • Entrance and a photo corner that works in a smaller room
  • Table settings where a meal follows

Worth knowing

It is a room, not a hall

A nischayam often happens at home or in a small hall where everyone can hear each other. Scale is the whole problem — a stage built for a wedding swallows the room and pushes the family to the walls.

Two or three angles, done properly

Almost every photograph comes from the same few positions. We build for those rather than spreading budget evenly around a backdrop nobody photographs from behind.

FAQ

Engagement in Kochi — questions people ask

What does engagement or nischayam décor cost in Kochi?
Less than a wedding, because the scale is smaller — but a small room done carefully is not the same as a cheap job. Cost moves with the backdrop, the flowers and whether a meal is served. Send the date and the space and we will quote within a day.
Can you decorate at home?
Yes. Most nischayams we are asked about are at home, and the constraints — fixings, furniture that has to stay, walkways — are planned for from the start.
Can the same palette carry through to the wedding?
It can, and it is worth deciding early. Carrying a palette forward makes both events feel deliberate, and it usually means some pieces can be reused.
